My oldest son is a nurse in Shreveport; my daughter and middle son are CPAs in Baton Rouge; my youngest son works in the restaurant business. My hobbies are reading, cooking and bike riding.

I worked for 19 years at an Arts Magnet School in New Orleans where we integrated art into our academic classes. I have taught from Kindergarten to 7th grades as well as writing.
