I am originally from Brussels, Belgium. I moved to Baton Rouge with the CODOFIL in 1999 to teach French as a second language. I started teaching in the immersion program in 2001 when they opened the 3rd grade class, and I have been doing this since then.
My mom was a teacher so I followed her lead and became a teacher myself. After many years of teaching, I still enjoy the bond that I form with the students, see them grow, see the love they have for the language. Knowing that you made a difference, big or little, in their life is priceless.
I have a daughter who attend Baton Rouge FLAIM. She is my joy!
