French Performance

Friday, April 5th, 9:30 AM

Throughout the year, all K-5 classes study and research a country or region of the world where their target language is spoken. International Festival week is a time where students showcase what they have learned throughout the year. During this event, students showcase their work by participating in public speaking opportunities, songs, cultural events and other relevant performances. Student work is also displayed throughout the school. This event is open to current FLAIM families, prospective parents and community members. Any prospective parents or community members that wish to attend should contact Ms. Louque, FLAIM’s Magnet Site Coordinator, at 343-6630.

  • This is a pirates & siren themed party - come in costume or don’t.

  • There will be a silent auction with a bunch of awesome stuff - bring money, check, credit card.

  • Get ready to sing. There will be professional karaoke equipment and a DJ.

  • There will be Caribbean food and rum punch brought to you by Jasmine Labelle & her husband, Angel.

FLAIM Sea Shanty

The wail of the sea
Is a siren's song
For many a pirate bold.
The lure of the sound
And the silver and gold
Will draw them here to thee.

So come ye lassies,
Come ye lads
And silently make your bids.
Open your purse wide,
Loosen the strings
And bargain ye dollars and quids.

Hear the singing, join the songs
As we share the island fare.
Rum and food to satisfy all,
With dancing if you dare.

Hear the sounds of the siren's song.
After the feasting is done.
Remind us of the flame so bright
The FLAIM of our guiding light.
