Hello FLAIM Families!

This week is going to be exciting as the Enchanted Forest Book Fair fills the Library with fun! Visit our Online Fair at http://www.scholastic.com/bf/brflaim

Students will come shop during their regular Library Class time, with a few exceptions. YOU are invited to come shop with your children during their class time. Please see the Fair website or check with teachers for the day and time.

This year, we have a Teacher Wish List display in which teachers have put the titles of Scholastic books they would like to add to their classroom libraries. This is a great opportunity to purchase books to donate to your child's classroom!

Wednesday, we are having a Literary Event! Students may come to school dressed as their favorite children's book character or author! Please join us for Literary Night when we keep the book fair open from 4 to 6 pm for your shopping pleasure. There will be volunteers reading popular books in the common area in front of the gym. It's a great opportunity to dress up and share your favorite story, if YOU are interested in helping out! And that wonderful aroma drifting in from the parking lot will be Ms. Ashby's husband and his Pullin' Pork food truck selling their delicious specialties!

Pre-K and Kindergarten families have another opportunity to shop BEFORE the Thanksgiving luncheon on Thursday. The book fair will be open especially for you from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

HINT: Shopping at the Book Fair is a great way to get some of your holiday shopping done! Thank you for supporting the BR FLAIM Library by participating in our Book Fair! Please contact me if you'd like to help!

Doris Mueller, Librarian
