Arrival and Dismissal
Morning Extended Day
Hours 7:00 am to 7:55 am.
The Extended Day entrance for morning drop off is at the gym doors.
Morning Carpool
Students may arrive between 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM. Students should NOT arrive on campus before 8:00 AM unless they attend Extended Day before school. Supervision of students does not begin until that time. The tardy bell is at 8:30 AM. All students are to be dropped off through the carpool line at the front door of the school. Students are not to be dropped off on the streets or back parking lot.
Parents can take the carpool line. Students should be ready to depart from their vehicles quickly. If your child has a project or something large to bring to class, please park in main parking lot and walk with them to the crosswalk.
Pre-K, Kindergarten Carpool
Pre-K and Kindergarten are in the Main Driveway via the gym. Form 2 lines and pull in tight. See orange arrows. Students should be ready to depart from their vehicles quickly.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders that have Pre-K and K Siblings
Older siblings (1st-5th) will arrive with younger siblings (Pre-K and K) at the Main Driveway via the gym.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades Carpool
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades arrive via the Flagpole Driveway. Form 2 lines and pull in tight. See red arrows. Students should be ready to depart from their vehicles quickly.
Tardy
If you arrive after the tardy bell rings at 8:30 AM, parents must come into the office to sign your child into school.
Check Out
Students may not be checked out after 2:45 PM.
Afternoon Carpool
Form 2 lines in both driveways. Pull in tight to the car in front of you.
All cars must have display their carpool number on the DASHBOARD to easily see. All students must know their carpool number.
Pre-K and Kindergarten
Pre-K and Kindergarten dismiss from the Main Driveway via the gym. See orange arrows. Form 2 lines and pull in tight. Utilize the basketball court while waiting.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Graders that have Pre-K and K Siblings
Older siblings (1st-5th) will join their younger siblings (Pre-K and K) to dismiss from the Main Driveway via the gym.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades dismiss via the Flagpole Driveway. See red arrows. Utilize grassy area between the sidewalk and main parking lot while waiting.
Afternoon Extended Day
Hours 3:40-6PM.
The Extended Day entrance for afternoon pickup is at the flagpole driveway.
Parents must never leave their cars while in the carpool line. If you must leave your car, you must get out of the carpool line and park.
Do not park between the rows to let your child out in the morning.
Do not park between the rows and walk up to get your child.
Bus Guidelines
Bus riders must adhere to all bus rules or will be removed from the bus. Safety is the priority for our bus drivers. They are to contact parents with problems and may also report the student to the principal. The bus driver may write-up the student for behavior problems. Three write-ups will result in a suspension from the bus.
Bus riders will not be allowed to stay at school for carpool dismissal unless we have a written note from the parent stating that the child is to remain at school for carpool dismissal.
Students will not be permitted to get off at other stops or ride other buses at any time. If you must pick up your child from school and do not want them to ride the bus, a written notice MUST be sent to the front office before 2:30 PM.
