Eligibility Requirements

K–1st Grade Applicants

  • Applicants must meet district set minimum proficiency scores in both math and English Language Arts on a computer-based assessment.

  • Applicants DO NOT need to know the Immersion Language (French, Mandarin, or Spanish).

2nd–3rd Grade Applicants

  • Applicants must be transferring from an immersion school or be a native or heritage speaker of an Immersion Language (French, Mandarin, or Spanish).

  • Applicants must meet district set minimum proficiency scores in both math and English Language Arts on a computer-based assessment.

  • Applicants must meet a minimum proficiency score on an Immersion Language (French, Mandarin, or Spanish) assessment.

4th–5th Grade Applicants

  • Applicants must be transferring from an immersion school or be a native or heritage speaker of an Immersion Language (French, Mandarin, or Spanish).

  • Applicants must meet district set minimum proficiency scores in both math and reading on a norm-referenced assessment. (ex. LEAP)

  • Applicants must meet a minimum proficiency score on an Immersion Language (French, Mandarin, or Spanish) assessment.

  • Applicants must have a cumulative 2.50 grade point average on their report cards in the last 4 semesters.
